Pakistani-origin chef Maryam Ishtiaq, based in Dallas, earned high praise from renowned chef Gordon Ramsay for her expertly crafted tandoori chicken on Next Level Chef Season 4.

In a viral Instagram video, Ishtiaq shared her interaction with Ramsay, where she proudly introduced her Pakistani roots while preparing the dish. Ramsay, tasting the chicken, responded with admiration: “Pakistan, beautiful. Some of the best food comes from Pakistan.”

Another judge praised her homemade yogurt for its freshness, while Ramsay applauded the flavors, saying, The chicken is delicious. That strong Pakistani foundation is evident here. Well done.”

An emotional Ishtiaq, wiping away tears, expressed her pride in representing Pakistan. She later revealed on Instagram that she initially applied for the show years ago but forgot about it until she received an unexpected call for further discussions.

Her journey on Next Level Chef has not only showcased her culinary talent but also brought Pakistani cuisine into the global spotlight—an achievement she deeply cherishes.
