ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has activated its Crisis Management Unit (CMU) to assist its citizens stranded in Syria due to the ongoing conflict between rebel groups and the Syrian government, according to ARY News.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement confirming the activation of the CMU in response to the evolving situation in Syria. Pakistani nationals in Syria, as well as their families, have been encouraged to reach out to the CMU for assistance through the following contact information:

The Pakistan Embassy in Damascus is also actively working to assist Pakistani citizens in the region.
Earlier, Pakistan issued a warning to its citizens, advising against unnecessary travel to Syria due to the ongoing conflict. The Foreign Office issued a travel advisory, urging Pakistanis to refrain from visiting Syria until the situation improves.
