Pakistan prepares to make its mark at Heimtextil 2025 trade fair

Pakistan is preparing for its largest-ever presence at the Heimtextil 2025 trade fair, one of the world’s premier home textile events, with more than 270 companies taking part.

Set to take place from January 14 to 17 in Frankfurt, Germany, the event offers Pakistani companies a prime opportunity to present their sustainable textile products to international buyers.

The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) will organize a Pakistani pavilion to promote the country’s textile industry and create export opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). With a 10% increase in exhibitors compared to last year, Pakistan ranks fourth among the participating nations.

Pakistani exhibitors will highlight eco-friendly and modern textile products, which are expected to boost exports. Khalid Beg, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt Pakistan, expressed optimism about the new arrangements and believes that Pakistani companies will once again capture global attention with their sustainable products.

The German embassy and consulate have also supported the participation of Pakistani companies by streamlining the visa process for over 400 participants, allowing around 2,200 professionals from Pakistan to attend.

Heimtextil’s Director, Margit Herberth, will also organize a special tour for the Pakistani delegation to acknowledge their contributions and showcase their growing impact on the global textile industry.
